Bratislav Vinnytsia and Dnister Zaleshchyky played out a 3-3 draw in the Druha Liha's seventh round on 19 September 2026. The result ended Bratislav's perfect start to the campaign and gave the hosts a point they needed.
Bratislav sat top of the table on nine points from three wins, while Dnister sat third on four points with one win, one draw and one defeat. A draw means the gap remains five points, though the hosts now have a game in hand.
Bratislav's recent form had not been straightforward. They went 2-0 against Dnipro-1 on 13 September, but before that they drew 0-0 with Nyva Vinnytsia and lost 0-2 to Oleksandriya on 21 August. Things came to a head at Zaleshchyky.
Dnister arrived with mixed results. A 2-0 win over Vilkhivtsi on 12 September followed a 3-2 victory against Podillya Khmelnytskyi on 5 September. They had dropped points against Livi Bereh and won against Skala 1911 Stryi on 15 August.
Three goals each is a result that tells you nothing about who deserved more. The league table after round seven shows Bratislav still leading, but the hosts know they can close the gap with wins in their remaining fixtures.
