Seoul E-Land secured a 2:1 victory over Pusan A'Park in the K-League 2 regular season on 2 August. The result moves the visitors further clear in their push toward the top of the table, while the hosts remain mid-table. It was a match decided by moments rather than sustained dominance from either side.
Cristian Renato gave Seoul the lead in the 52nd minute, a goal that shifted the momentum. Pusan responded through Baek Ji-Ung, who equalised in the 72nd minute and kept them in it. Bak Jae-Yong restored the visitors' advantage in the 84th minute, and that proved decisive.
Pusan had more attacking intent overall, registering 92 attacks compared to Seoul's 103. The hosts took 12 shots but only three found the target, while the visitors were more efficient with six on target from ten attempts. Possession sat at 46 per cent for Pusan and 54 for Seoul, a spread that reflected the open nature of the game.
Both sides made changes in the second half. Pusan introduced Park Chang-Hwan and Kim Se-Hoon at the break, while Seoul brought on Euller in the 87th minute. The yellow cards came thick and fast toward the end, with Chico Geraldes and Min Seong-Jun booked in stoppage time.
Seoul sit second with 45 points from 24 games, closing in on a deal for some kind of advantage. Pusan are sixth with 24 points, and the gap between them remains significant. By then, the result had settled the question of who would move closer to the automatic places.
