Milsami Orhei took three points from Belți in the Super Liga on Saturday evening, winning 3-1 at the home ground. R. Ginsari netted twice for the visitors, while N. Garciu and C. Silcenco also found the net. The result leaves Milsami sixteenth in the table with fourteen points after eleven matches, two places above Belți who sit eighth on five points.
Ginsari opened the scoring early, firing home in the third minute before Milsami held control. Garciu doubled the advantage just before the break, slotting in during the 36th minute. Belți had a yellow card in the 27th minute and another at 45+4, but could only respond through Silcenco's 75th-minute strike.
And here's the thing about the statistics — Milsami dominated possession at 70 per cent and registered twelve shots on target compared to Belți's two. The visitors also won seven corners to one and had eight shots off target alongside those twelve on target. Belți managed only two shots on target and two off target, with just one corner all game.
To be fair, Belți's recent form makes this result predictable. They have lost four of their last five matches, including heavy defeats 0-3 at Petrocub, 0-4 to Zimbru, and 0-6 against Politehnica Chișinău. Their only point from those fixtures came in a 1-1 draw with Siret.
Milsami, meanwhile, have been more resilient. They drew 0-0 with Dacia-Bugei and 1-1 with Politehnica, while beating Petrocub 1-0. The visitors are unbeaten in five across all competitions, though they did lose 2-4 to Zimbru in that run.
By then, Ginsari had already added his second goal in the 80th minute to seal the victory. Milsami's away record continues to improve, and they now sit comfortably above the drop zone. Belți's struggles persist, and they face an uphill battle to climb away from the bottom half.
