Kimhae and Jeonnam Dragons played out a 2-2 draw in K-League 2 Regular Season round 25 on Saturday. The hosts took an early lead through I. Bughridze in the first minute, then extended it before half-time with Lee Seung-Jae's goal. Jeonnam fought back after the break, Miguel Baggio and Ha Nam finding the net to salvage a point for the visitors.
Kimhae started brightly and and here's the thing — they never let go of the initiative. Bughridze opened the scoring almost immediately, then Lee Seung-Jae doubled the advantage before Ronan came off on the bench at 26 minutes. By then the match looked settled for the home side, who had already registered four attacks in the opening quarter-hour.
The second half belonged to Jeonnam. Baggio pulled one back at 28 minutes and Ha Nam equalised eight minutes later. Kimhae responded with changes — Cho Young-Kwang came on at 46, Pyo Geon-Hee at 60, and Bughridze himself was replaced at 62 after his opener. Miguel Baggio followed off at 70, and Lee Kang-Uk made his way onto the pitch at the death.
The statistics tell a story of two teams trading blows. Jeonnam held 53 per cent possession and registered five shots on target against Kimhae's four, but both sides were equally blunt — three shots off target each, four blocked attempts apiece. Kimhae earned six corners to Jeonnam's nine, and three yellow cards were shown to the hosts compared to one for the visitors.
For Kimhae, the result leaves them 17th with 13 points from 23 games. They've won just twice this season and this draw extends a run that includes four defeats in their last five matches. Jeonnam sit 16th on 20 points, four wins and eight draws, and this point keeps them in touch with the teams above them.
