Häcken II came from behind twice to beat Sandviken 3-2 in the Elitettan's fifteenth round on Saturday. The result keeps both sides in the relegation zone, with Sandviken holding thirteenth place on nine points and Häcken II fourteen on four.
A.A. Sagstrom gave the hosts the lead at the quarter-hour mark, but F. Hopkins levelled shortly after the interval. Sandviken thought they had gone ahead when E. Migas found the net in the seventy-third minute. By then the game was already shifting.
Z. Koont equalised for Häcken II with less than ten minutes remaining, and Hopkins wrapped it up a minute later to complete her brace. Sandviken had pulled two players off the bench before the comeback, but Häcken II held firm.
Both teams enter this fixture with uneven recent form. Sandviken had won their previous meeting 4-3, while Häcken II were coming off a run of defeats including a 1-2 loss to Linköping on their last outing.
The result leaves Sandviken with one point more than their opponents, though neither side has much to show for their campaigns. Thirteen wins across thirty-two games between them says as much as any table position.
