Nothing dramatic, just people trying to change the flow. The yellow cards came thick and fast — four for Saryer, three for Batman — and the fouls told their own story: 10 against 19. Batman were more aggressive, and it showed.

But shots accuracy tells the real tale — 47 per cent for Saryer, 30 per cent for Batman. And yet Batman scored twice. Chances went begging for the hosts, and that is a hard lesson to take.

This result ends Saryer's unbeaten run and extends Batman's lead at the summit. Three points can change everything, and tonight it did.
