Sassuolo and Frosinone share points in Coppa Italia thriller
Sassuolo and Frosinone drew 1-1 after ninety minutes in the Coppa Italia Round of 32 before Frosinone won 4-2 on penalties on September 2, 2026. The result means Frosinone advance to the next round of the Coppa Italia. Sassuolo's recent form included a 2-1 win over Torino and a 3-0 victory against Cesena before this draw. Frosinone had beaten Fiorentina 3-0 and lost to Juventus 1-0 in their previous outings.
