Sydskasten edged past Ishøj 3-1 in the Round of 128 of the Danish Cup on August 4th.

Lasse Petersen struck twice in the first half to settle the contest. He opened the scoring in the 23rd minute before doubling his tally just after the red card. Petersen's double showed composure under pressure. The clean-sheet run came to an end, but the three points matter more. The table goes out of the window in these games, and Sydkasten made that clear.
