He made his name in Sweden's Allsvenskan rather than in Italy, where his career actually began. He moved to Venezia's youth setup at just 16 and trained with the senior squad for close to three years, but a first-team debut never came. The switch that mattered arrived in January 2024, when he joined GAIS. There he became a regular, and his 2025 campaign — six goals and two assists in 26 league matches — was the kind of season that gets noticed abroad.

It was noticed by Los Angeles FC, who brought him to MLS via the U22 Initiative in January 2026 on a contract running through 2029, with a club option for a further year. He chose the number 65, a nod to Hässelby's postcode back home. His debut came in the CONCACAF Champions Cup against Real España, and he went on to make seven appearances for LAFC across all competitions. The stay was brief: by July 2026 he had moved on to Hammarby IF, signing until the end of 2030, with LAFC keeping a sell-on clause from the deal.

At international level, Boudri has represented Sweden through the youth ranks, earning caps for the U19s before stepping up to the U21s. He scored his first goal for the U21 side in a European Under-21 Championship qualifier against North Macedonia in November 2025, a year almost to the day after his debut for the age group against the Republic of Ireland. A senior call-up has yet to follow.
