Anosike Victor Ementa

Anosike Ementa's path to the Belgian Pro League ran through injury before it ran through form. A fatigue fracture in his little toe forced surgery in April 2021, not long after he had joined AaB Fodbold on a free transfer, and the setback pushed his debut for the club back a full season. Once fit, he settled into AaB's side, making 33 league appearances over two seasons, though goals in the league eluded him there.

A move to Viborg FF followed in July 2023, in a deal worth around €100,000, before Zulte Waregem brought him to Belgium in 2025. It is at Zulte Waregem, wearing number 18, that Ementa has started finding the net regularly for the first time in his senior career. He scored and set up a goal in a 2-1 win over Genk, and struck again in a 2-0 away win at RAAL La Louvière. Reports on his season tally vary slightly, with figures ranging from 32 to 37 appearances and four or five goals depending on the count.

Born in Annisse, Ementa began at local side Annisse IF before progressing through the FC Helsingør academy, where he made three senior appearances in 2020 without scoring. He has not been capped at senior international level for Denmark or Nigeria, though he has said he would like to play for Denmark.
