About the player
Adam Mayor grew up in Liverpool and joined Tranmere Rovers' youth ranks at the age of eight, before further spells at Preston North End and Morecambe took him into senior football. He made his professional debut for Morecambe on 27 August 2022 and went on to make 57 league appearances for the club, scoring six goals from left-back.
In January 2024 Millwall paid a fee reported at around £300,000, potentially rising to £1 million, to take him to the Championship.
Mayor left Millwall permanently in July 2026, signing for Hibernian and taking the number 3 shirt. He plays as a left-back or left wing-back, favouring his left foot, and arrives in Scotland with the loan spells at Bromley and Cambridge United as his most recent experience of regular first-team football.
