Anton Miranchuk

Anton Miranchuk came through Lokomotiv Moscow's academy, joining the club's youth ranks in 2011 and making his first-team debut in October 2013. His stay in Moscow ran until the summer of 2024, when his contract expired. With Lokomotiv he won the Russian Premier League in 2017–18, added three Russian Cups and the 2019 Russian Super Cup, and was named among the 33 Best Players of the Russian Championship for 2018–19. Lokomotiv supporters gave him the "Steel Rail" award that same season, and in 2018 he received the Honorary Diploma of the President of Russia and was made an Honoured Master of Sport.

His free transfer to FC Sion in September 2024 took him abroad for the first time. It did not turn into a long stay: Sion finished ninth in the Swiss Super League during his time there, and their Swiss Cup campaign ended in the Round of 16 with a 0-1 defeat to Thun. By August 2025 Miranchuk was back in Russia, moving to Dynamo Moscow in a deal reported at €1.7 million, with a further €800,000 said to be due in January 2026.

On the international stage, Miranchuk made his senior Russia debut in October 2017 against South Korea and has since won 37 caps and scored seven goals, including strikes against Hungary and Turkey in the Nations League. He was part of Russia's squad at the 2018 World Cup, though he did not play, and featured at Euro 2020.
