About the player
Adam Stroud is a product of the Oddevold youth setup, though his path to first-team football ran through Rosseröds IK, where he moved at the age of twelve and made his senior debut in Division 5 at just fourteen. Over three seasons there he scored five goals in 25 matches before returning to Oddevold in January 2022, where he went on to make 57 senior appearances and score three goals across Division 1 and Superettan.
In March 2026 he joined Veikkausliiga side IFK Mariehamn on loan, an arrangement originally due to run until the end of June but later extended for the remainder of the 2026 season. The switch has paid off in playing time: by late August he had made 13 appearances for Mariehamn, scoring his first goal for the club against IF Gnistan on 11 July 2026 and adding an assist.
Stroud has also represented Sweden at youth level, collecting four caps and a goal for the under-18s and two caps with a goal for the under-19s. He is the younger brother of Elliot Stroud, who plays for Hull City.
