Aaro Soiniemi

Aaro Soiniemi's football education began at Nurmijärven Jalkapalloseura, and at nine he moved into the Käpylän Pallo academy, where he stayed until 2022 and then broke into the senior side. He spent two seasons with KäPa, making 24 appearances and scoring once, before HJK Helsinki signed him on a three-year contract in November 2023. At HJK he was kept largely with the reserves, playing 18 games for Klubi 04 across 2024 and 2025 without finding the net, and he never made a senior appearance for the first team during his time at the club. In January 2026 he left on a permanent move to IFK Mariehamn, where by July he had made 13 appearances.

Soiniemi is a left-footed defender. Internationally, he represented Finland at U18 level, collecting eight caps between 2022 and 2023, and was part of the squad that won the Baltic Cup with the U18s in 2023.
