Adama Jarjue

Adama Jarjue came through Gambian football with Gamtel FC before moving to Serbia in 2020, where he spent time at FK Zlatibor Čajetina and then FK Sloga Kraljevo. He returned home in 2022 to play for Real Banjul, before a fresh move abroad in 2024 took him to Montenegro. There he signed for FK Bokelj on a free transfer, then switched to OFK Grbalj later the same year, again without a fee changing hands.

A defender comfortable operating in midfield as well, Jarjue plays with both feet, a trait that has allowed him to switch flanks without disrupting his passing side. He has represented The Gambia at youth level, turning out for the under-20s and later the under-23s. His closest brush with the senior side came in June 2021, when he was named among the substitutes for a match against Nigeria, though he did not take to the pitch.

Jarjue's path has been defined by movement between leagues rather than by long spells at any single club, taking in stints in Gambia, Serbia and Montenegro within the space of a few years.
