About the player
At Steve Biko FC he scored six goals in eight appearances during the 2022–2023 GFF Division One League season. That form, combined with his displays for the Gambia under-20 side, carried him to Reims in July 2023 on a five-year contract, with reports at the time noting interest from Premier League clubs.
At the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations he scored a hat-trick against South Sudan and struck the winning goal against Nigeria, finishing as joint top scorer with four goals in the tournament. He followed that with an appearance at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, where he scored against France in a group-stage match Gambia won 2-1.
Loaned to Grasshopper Club Zürich for the 2024–2025 season, Bojang made 27 appearances across league and cup and scored six goals. He earned his first call-up to the senior Gambia national team in June 2024 and had won five caps by May 2026, without yet scoring for the senior side. In July 2026 he signed a new contract with Reims running until 2030 and was sent out on loan again, this time to Charleroi.
