About the player
Adrian Skogmar has never worn another club's badge. He joined Malmö FF's academy at the age of five, in 2011, and stayed through every youth level until his senior debut in 2023. The connection has since been formalised twice over, with contract extensions signed in September 2023 and October 2024.
His first senior goal came on 24 February 2024, in an 8–0 rout of IFK Luleå in the Svenska Cupen. More significant than the individual numbers is what has come with them: Skogmar has been part of Malmö FF squads that won the Allsvenskan title in both 2023 and 2024, as well as the Svenska Cupen in 2023–24. At youth level, he had already lifted the P17 Allsvenskan with the club in 2022.
Internationally, Skogmar has moved through the Swedish youth pyramid, from the Sweden Future Team at P16 level in October 2021 through the U18 side, five caps at U19 and two at U21. Born to a Swedish father and a Thai mother, he is also eligible to play for Thailand, and has had to address speculation about a possible switch — he has said he has not been contacted by the Football Association of Thailand.
Skogmar remains one of the academy products Malmö FF has pushed into first-team football rather than sold on.
