About the player
A move to PAOK followed in 2015, but it was at FC Copenhagen that Olsen won the Danish Superliga and Danish Cup double in both 2015–16 and 2016–17. He was named Sweden's Goalkeeper of the Year in four consecutive years, from 2016 to 2019, a run that carried him to AS Roma in 2018.
That loan yielded only a single appearance, but it was enough for Villa to make the move permanent that summer.
In 2025, his career came full circle: he returned to Malmö FF on a free transfer, signing a contract that runs until the end of the 2029–30 season.
