About the player
Ahmed Kendouci came up through MC Saïda and MC El Eulma before joining ES Sétif in 2018, where he made his senior debut that season, racking up 92 league appearances and 26 goals over five years. That form took him to Egypt in January 2023, when Al Ahly paid a reported fee of around €920,000 for him. He picked up an Egyptian Premier League title, the CAF Champions League, the Egypt Cup and the Egyptian Super Cup with the club, though he struggled for regular minutes.
Loaned to Ceramica Cleopatra in August 2023, Kendouci found the playing time he had been missing, scoring 10 goals in 34 appearances and helping the club win the Egyptian League Cup. The move was made permanent in January 2025, with Al Ahly reportedly continuing to cover part of his salary. In April 2025, he suffered a double fracture of the tibia and fibula while playing for Ceramica Cleopatra, an injury that ended his season.
On the international stage, he has earned caps for Algeria's senior side since 2024 and previously featured for the Algeria A' team, with whom he reached the final of the 2022 African Nations Championship.
