An opening offer of around €4 million was turned down; the deal was finally struck on 12 July 2025 at €6.5 million, with the midfielder signing a contract that runs until 30 June 2028.

He came through the youth ranks at Fluminense in his native Rio de Janeiro and was part of the squad that won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A in 2016. Corinthians paid roughly €1 million for him in the summer of 2018, then sent him on loan to Bahia, where he added the Campeonato Baiano in 2019.

The step abroad came that July, when PAOK paid €3 million for him. He stayed four seasons in Thessaloniki and scored ten goals. The high point arrived on 22 May 2021, when PAOK beat Olympiacos 2–1 in the Greek Cup final. Nantes took him to Ligue 1 in August 2023 for a fee reported at about €5.5 million.

He won three caps for Brazil at under-20 level in 2016 and one at under-23 level in 2019. In 2021 he was named in the squad for the Tokyo Olympics, but a thigh injury forced him to withdraw before he could play a match. He has yet to be capped by the senior side.
