About the player

Bence Batik joined Debreceni VSC in July 2024 on a free transfer. He stands 191 cm tall and plays with his right foot.

Batik came through the youth ranks at Szombathelyi Haladás before a loan and permanent move to Hódmezővásárhelyi FC. A switch to Szeged-Csanád Grosics Akadémia followed, and in early 2012 he joined Ferencvárosi TC on a free transfer, starting out with the reserve side before breaking into the first team that year. His six seasons at Ferencváros, interrupted by a loan to MTK Budapest in 2013–14, brought a string of honours: the Hungarian League Cup twice, the Hungarian Cup twice, the Hungarian Super Cup, and the NB I championship in 2015–16.

In July 2018 he moved to Budapest Honvéd on a free transfer, where he won the Hungarian Cup in 2019–20 and became a fixture of the side, passing 100 NB I appearances in February 2022 and 150 that August. From there he joined Puskás Akadémia in August 2022, spending two seasons in Felcsút and making 47 league appearances before his move to Debrecen.

At international level, Batik's involvement has been limited to a single cap for Hungary's under-19 side in 2011.
