Bruno Damiani

Bruno Damiani made his first-team debut for Nacional in Montevideo on 11 January 2023. A year into his senior career, the club sent him out on loan to Boston River, where he scored 12 goals in 38 appearances over the 2024 season.

On 18 February 2025, Philadelphia Union signed Damiani for a club-record fee, reported by ESPN at 3.4 million dollars plus 0.6 million in add-ons. The deal was structured so Nacional received 1.98 million dollars while retaining a 20 percent sell-on clause, with the remainder split between Boston River, his agent and the player himself — Damiani donated his own 200,000-dollar share to Nacional's youth teams. He signed a four-year deal running through the 2028 season, with a club option for 2029, under MLS's Young Designated Player rules.

At Philadelphia, wearing number 9, Damiani has made 34 appearances, scoring nine goals and adding two assists. The club won the Supporters' Shield for finishing top of the MLS regular season table in 2025, the same year Nacional won the Uruguayan Super Cup.

Damiani has represented Uruguay's Selección Local, a national side made up of players from the domestic league, debuting on 31 May 2024 in a goalless draw with Costa Rica. He later scored twice in a 2-1 win over Gremio with that side. He has not been called up to Uruguay's full national team.
