About the player
Bernardo Antunes came up through the youth ranks at Moncarapachense and Os Belenenses before finding regular senior football away from the big academies. His first taste of it came at Clube Académico de Pêro Pinheiro, where he played through the 2023/2024 season in Liga 3. From there he moved into SC União Torreense's U23 side, continuing his development in a similar tier of the game.
In August 2025, Antunes joined Farense's U23 squad, where he now plays in the Liga Revelação, the competition reserved for clubs' development teams. The move fits the pattern of his career so far: a centre-back working his way up through development football.
He has not yet featured for Portugal at any age level, nor collected individual honours.
