About the player
Brahima Magassa came up through Paris FC's academy before spending years working through French football's lower divisions, moving between CO Vincennes and FC Challans, then Olympique Saumur FC and Les Herbiers VF, where he made 27 league appearances and scored once. A season at LB Châteauroux, where he added 22 more league outings, and he joined the Finnish club in March 2026.
At KuPS the centre-back has become a regular fixture, making 16 appearances in the 2026 Veikkausliiga campaign and scoring in the win over FC Lahti in August. He has also featured in the club's Champions League qualifying ties against Sabah FK and Shamrock Rovers.
