About the player
He made his professional debut for Vejle BK on 22 October 2021, and by the end of that season had helped the club win the Danish 1. Division and secure promotion to the Superliga.
A left-footed forward primarily deployed on the right wing, Gammelgaard is also capable of playing as a central attacking midfielder or second striker. In January 2024 he was sent on loan to FC Fredericia for the remainder of the season before returning to the club in July 2024. He wore the number 7 shirt throughout his time at Vejle.
In August 2026 he left Vejle BK on a permanent transfer to Odense BK, signing a five-year contract and again taking the number 7. At youth international level, Gammelgaard was capped twice by Denmark's under-19 side in 2022, scoring one goal during that spell.
