K. Lokesa

Chris Lokesa scored on his second appearance for Waasland-Beveren, in a 4–2 comeback win over Jong KAA Gent. He had arrived in January 2026 on a deal running to 30 June 2028, the fee undisclosed, and by the end of the following season he had 17 league appearances and four goals for the club.

He came through at KRC Genk before moving into the RSC Anderlecht academy in 2020. The step up came with RSCA Futures, Anderlecht's under-23 side, in the Challenger Pro League: 11 appearances and four goals in the 2022/2023 season, which made him the leading scorer among the reserve squad's new arrivals. His first professional goal came against Jong Genk on 16 October 2022. A year earlier, on a summer tour, he had scored Anderlecht's goal in a 1–1 draw with OFI Crete.

In January 2023 he left for RKC Waalwijk on a free transfer. Around 68 professional appearances and six goals followed, across the Eredivisie and then the Eerste Divisie after the club went down.

Beveren won the Challenger Pro League title in 2025/2026 and went up to the Jupiler Pro League unbeaten.

He is used across the front and middle of the pitch — left wing, attacking midfield, central midfield. Belgian, and also a citizen of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, he has one cap and one goal for Belgium's under-15s, from 2019, and one for the under-21s in 2024.
