About the player
César Munder was born in Havana and made his way through Universidad Católica's academy before his first-team debut in April 2018 against San Luis de Quillota. He was still a teenager when the trophies started arriving: three Chilean championships and a Super Cup with the club, along with the Verano Fox Sports title. He also holds Chilean citizenship, granted in 2019, and that year he was called into Chile's under-23 side, coming on as a substitute for Iván Morales in a friendly against Brazil's under-23 team that ended in defeat.
From there his path ran through loan spells rather than a settled first-team role. Every one of his moves has come as a free agent, without a transfer fee changing hands. After leaving Cobresal, he joined Palestino .
Munder has not added to that single Chile under-23 appearance since 2019, and a senior call-up has not followed.
