Dinmukhamed Karaman joined Astana as a free agent.

The bigger story of the past year, though, is his emergence with the national team. Karaman was handed his Kazakhstan debut on 7 September 2025, coming on as a second-half substitute against Belgium in a heavy 0–6 defeat in 2026 World Cup qualifying. He kept his place in the squad through the autumn, featuring in a 4–0 win over Liechtenstein before earning a start against North Macedonia. That game brought his first international goal: an acrobatic finish in the 54th minute that put Kazakhstan ahead in what finished a 1–1 draw. He was given a short run of ten minutes when Belgium visited again in November, in another 1–1 result.

Those appearances have taken him to five caps and a goal for his country inside his debut year at international level. The acrobatic strike against North Macedonia stands as the clearest marker of what he can offer in the final third, arriving from midfield rather than as a specialist forward.
