Mukhamedjan Seysen

Seysen came through the youth ranks at FC Taraz, working his way from the club's reserve side in the First League into the senior squad, where he made his Premier League debut in March 2019. His form that season did not go unnoticed locally: he was named in the Symbolic Team of the Round by the portal Sports.kz for his performance in round 14, having already been picked out as goalkeeper of the round in the First League the year before with the reserve team.

He stayed with Taraz through the 2022 campaign before moving on a free transfer to FC Ordabasy in February 2023. Across the season Seysen made 11 league appearances alongside outings in the Kazakhstan Cup and Super Cup, and Ordabasy went on to win the Premier League title, the first championship in the club's history.

A year almost to the day after that move, Seysen signed for FC Astana on another free transfer in February 2024. He has also established himself at international level, having made his senior debut for Kazakhstan in a friendly against North Macedonia in June 2021. His involvement with the national side has grown since, with further caps added in UEFA Nations League fixtures and World Cup qualifying matches.
