Denis Răzvan Radu

Radu has said in interviews that he has tried almost every position on the pitch except goalkeeper. He is registered as a defender and has been used mainly at right-back, though he has also played as a right winger. Transfermarkt lists him as two-footed, while some gaming databases have him down as right-footed.

He started at CSȘ Caransebeș in 2010, spent a season on loan at CSM Reșița, then moved through LPS Banatul Timișoara before joining ASU Politehnica Timișoara in 2016. He made his professional debut there in the 2018–19 Liga II season and played roughly 62 matches for the club before leaving in 2023.

In August 2023 he joined FC Petrolul Ploiești on loan with an option to buy, and made 11 appearances in his first season. Petrolul took up the option in 2024 and extended his contract to 2027. He went on to make 36 Liga I appearances for the club.

The move abroad came in January 2025, when Süper Lig side Eyüpspor took him on a free loan with a priority to buy. He made 15 appearances there, wearing number 22. When the loan ended in August 2026 he signed permanently for Kayserispor, then in the TFF 1. Lig, on a contract to 2028. The fee was not made public; his market value at the time was estimated at between €400,000 and €800,000.

With Romania he has two caps at under-19 level and two at under-20, and has also appeared for the under-21s, including in qualifying for the 2025 UEFA Under-21 Championship. He has not been capped by the senior side.
