Damian Las

Damian Las made his mark before he ever kept a first-team goal in Major League Soccer.

That development took an unusual route for an American keeper. Las came up through Chicago Magic SC and the Chicago Fire academy before moving to England in September 2019, signing a three-year deal with Fulham. He spent that spell largely away from Craven Cottage, going out on loan in 2021 to North Carolina FC and to non-league side Harrow Borough.

Austin FC brought him back across the Atlantic in January 2022. After his title-winning campaign with Austin FC II in 2023, he spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons on loan at Louisville City FC.

Las has yet to feature for the senior United States national team, but he has represented the country at youth level, appearing for the U-15s in 2017 and then making 19 appearances for the U-17s between 2017 and 2019. He was part of the squad that reached the final of the 2019 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, keeping three clean sheets in five matches as the Americans qualified for the World Cup before losing to Mexico after extra time. At the U-17 World Cup that followed, Las started one match as the tournament was won by Brazil.
