Duran Ferree

Duran Ferree became the first player in the history of San Diego FC when he signed with the expansion MLS club in December 2023, agreeing to a deal through 2027 with a club option for 2028.

Ferree came up through the San Diego Surf academy before moving to San Diego Loyal Select in 2021. In September 2022, at just 15 years old, he signed his first professional contract with San Diego Loyal SC of the USL Championship, going on to make five first-team appearances. He also became the youngest goalkeeper in USL Championship history to keep a clean sheet.

After joining San Diego FC, he was loaned out to gain experience, first to USL Championship side Orange County SC in early 2024, where he played three matches, then to Danish Superliga club FC Nordsjælland for the 2024–25 season. He did not make a league appearance during his time in Denmark.

Ferree returned to San Diego FC in 2025 and made his MLS debut in November of that year, coming on in a conference final. His first start in the league followed in February 2026. He now wears the number 18 shirt for the club.

At youth international level, Ferree has represented the United States at both the U17 and U20 levels. With the U17s he reached the round of 16 at the World Cup and finished runner-up at the CONCACAF Championship in 2023. He was also part of the U20 squad at the 2024 CONCACAF Championship and was named to the roster for the 2025 U20 World Cup. He has not yet appeared for the senior national team.
