About the player
Elias Heggland Myrlid joined SK Brann in 2021. His senior debut came in the Norwegian Cup against Frøya in May 2023, and loan spells at Kristiansund BK and Kongsvinger IL followed within the same year. He was part of the Brann squad that won the 2022/2023 Norwegian Cup, scoring twice in five ties in that run, though he was not involved in the final against Lillestrøm. The move to IL Hødd in January 2024 marked a new chapter. He scored 9 goals as Hødd won their 2. divisjon group and went up, then added 6 more in the 1. divisjon in 2025, taking his tally for the club to 15 league goals across the two seasons. That form earned him a free transfer to Aalesund in July 2025 on a contract to 2028.
