Ewan Wilson

Ewan Wilson had been in the Motherwell academy since 2014 and signed his first professional contract with the club in June 2022. He was sent to Albion Rovers, where he made 20 league appearances across the 2022–23 season. A second loan followed at Stirling Albion, though that spell was cut short in March 2024 after 14 appearances, and Wilson instead finished the campaign at Beith Juniors, where he scored twice in 12 games.

His senior Motherwell debut arrived on 3 August 2024, when he started and played the full 90 minutes in a goalless Premiership draw against Ross County. Within weeks he had earned his first call-up to the Scotland Under-21 squad, making his debut in a European Championship qualifier against Spain on 6 September 2024, a match Scotland lost 2–1. He started again four days later against Malta, a 5–0 win in which he forced an own goal, and went on to be named in squads for further qualifiers against Belgium and Kazakhstan.

In August 2025 he joined Raith Rovers, an arrangement initially set to run until January 2026 but since extended for the remainder of the season, during which he has made 15 appearances.
