About the player
Franjo Prce came through the Hajduk Split academy before Lazio signed him in 2014 for a fee of €300,000. He never broke into the Lazio first team, but he was part of the squad that lifted the 2014–15 Coppa Italia, and he finished as a runner-up with Lazio's Primavera side in the Supercoppa Primavera that same season.
At youth level with Croatia, Prce was a regular fixture, moving up through the age groups from the under-16s to the under-21s.
Since leaving Lazio, his career has taken him through a wide spread of leagues rather than settling anywhere for long: spells with Omonia in Cyprus, Karpaty Lviv and Varaždin, then Slaven Belupo back in Croatia, a stint in India with East Bengal, two seasons at Koper in Slovenia, Spartak Varna in Bulgaria and Okzhetpes in Kazakhstan before his move to Petrolul Ploiești.
