Irakli Sikharulidze

Sikharulidze's career reads as a tour of Georgian football before it settled at Saburtalo. He came up through Dinamo Tbilisi's youth ranks and made his senior debut back at Kakheti Telavi in 2005, then worked through Merani Martvili, Dinamo Tbilisi, WIT Georgia and Metalurgi Rustavi, with a loan spell at Dinamo Batumi along the way, before a run through Zestaponi, Samtredia, Sioni Bolnisi and Locomotive Tbilisi.

In January 2018 he took his one move abroad, joining 1. FC Slovácko in the Czech Republic on a free transfer. Injury meant he never made a senior competitive appearance for the first team, playing only for the under-21 side, and by that summer he had moved on to Rīgas Futbola Skola in Latvia. He returned to Locomotive Tbilisi in January 2019 and stayed there for three years before joining Saburtalo, later renamed Iberia 1999, in early 2022.

That spell brought success. In December 2023 he scored an injury-time winner against Dinamo Batumi to help the club to the Georgian Cup, and the following year he added an Erovnuli Liga title with the same side. He remained at the club through the 2025 season.

At international level, Sikharulidze was capped twice by Georgia, both in November 2017. He made his debut in a friendly win over Cyprus on 10 November, then scored his only goal for the national side three days later in a 2–2 draw with Belarus.
