About the player
Jesús Jiménez Núñez spent his early career working through the lower tiers of Spanish football, starting out with Leganés B and AD Unión Adarve before spells at Illescas and CF Talavera de la Reina, where he scored 12 goals in 37 appearances. The breakthrough came only when he left Spain: joining Górnik Zabrze in June 2018, he scored 37 league goals in 121 matches and 43 in all competitions across 134 appearances. In August 2020 he was named Ekstraklasa Player of the Month.
He moved to Toronto FC in February 2022 for a fee of €650,000. He scored nine goals in 33 MLS appearances in his first season and won the Canadian Championship with the club. A trade to FC Dallas in February 2023, involving Brandon Servania and an international roster slot, resulted in 23 appearances and no goals.
He signed for Kerala Blasters FC on a free transfer in August 2024. He scored 11 goals in 18 Indian Super League appearances and became the first player in the club's history to score in six consecutive matches. In July 2025 he joined Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza on a free transfer, where he now wears the number 9 shirt.
