About the player
Ambæk came through Brøndby's academy after arriving from A27 in 2021, having started out at AB Tårnby. He was part of the Brøndby side that won the Danish U17 League in the 2022–23 season, then added the U17 Cup in both 2023 and 2024. He finished as joint top scorer in the 2024–25 campaign with 14 goals.
He made his senior debut for Brøndby in March 2025 and signed his first professional contract that July. The breakthrough came on 17 April 2026, when Ambæk scored a hat-trick to become the youngest player in Danish Superliga history to do so, aged 18 years and 20 days — beating the previous record held by Stefan K. Hansen.
A right-footed forward, Ambæk remains with Brøndby.
