Jádson Alves dos Santos

Jádson came through the youth ranks at Flamengo and Botafogo before breaking into Botafogo's first team in 2012, and a year later Udinese paid €2.5m to take the holding midfielder to Italy. The move never quite settled him in Serie A, and the following seasons were spent away from Udine on loan, first back at Athletico Paranaense, then at Santa Cruz and Ponte Preta.

In 2018 he returned to Brazil for good, joining Fluminense before a longer stint at Cruzeiro that included a loan to Bahia. He then spent five seasons at Juventude, a run that gave him the most settled and productive stretch of his career. Across all his clubs he has made 445 appearances, scoring 14 goals and adding 14 assists — modest numbers for a defensive midfielder whose job was rarely about the scoresheet.

On 3 January 2026, Jádson completed a permanent return to Athletico Paranaense, the club where he had already spent a loan spell nearly a decade earlier. He now wears the number 16 shirt for the Paraná side.
