Jaedin Rhodes

Rhodes made his professional debut for Cape Town City on 15 February 2022, in a goalless draw against Kaizer Chiefs in the DStv Premiership, having come through the club's academy after starting out at local sides Atlantis Leeds and Hellenic FC. He had progressed through the youth ranks, including the DStv Diski Challenge team, before his promotion to the senior squad for the 2021/22 season. Over four seasons at Cape Town City he made around 93 appearances across all competitions, scoring nine goals and setting up four more, and in 2022–23 he was named the club's Young Player of the Year. His time there spanned both the top-flight Premier Soccer League and, after Cape Town City's relegation, the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

In June 2026, Rhodes moved to Austria to join SV Ried of the Bundesliga, signing a contract until 2028 with an option for a further year. Reports at the time said Ried had come back with an improved offer after an initial bid was turned down, and the fee itself was not disclosed. He arrived at the club as a replacement for Antonio van Wyk and took the number 11 shirt.

By late August in his first season in Austria, Rhodes had made three appearances in the Bundesliga and one in the Austrian Cup, playing 173 minutes without a goal or an assist. His performances nonetheless drew a strong average FotMob rating of 7.36, including a 7.5 in a match against Rapid Wien.

Rhodes also plays international football for South Africa, having made his debut in June 2024 at the COSAFA Cup against Mozambique.
