Jamal Baptiste

Jamal Baptiste joined West Ham United's academy at the age of eight before signing his first professional contract in November 2020. He made his senior debut in January 2021 and, by December that year, was involved in the club's UEFA Europa League campaign. He was part of the West Ham squad that won the 2022–23 UEFA Europa Conference League, though injury meant he had not featured for the U21s since September 2022 and he did not make the final squad for that trophy. He had already won the Premier League 2 Division 2 title with West Ham's U23s.

Baptiste left West Ham as a free agent in May 2023 after turning down a new contract, then signed for Manchester City that September. City sent him straight out on loan to Belgian side Lommel SK, where he made three appearances, and he was released at the end of the 2023–24 season without playing a first-team match for the club.

In November 2024, Baptiste signed for Sheffield United on an initial one-year deal, making his debut for the club the following month. He extended his contract in June 2025. During the 2025–26 season he moved to Rotherham United on loan, making 29 league appearances and scoring once.

At international level, Baptiste has represented England, with caps at U16, U17 and U19.
