Joseph Jones

Joseph Jones started early: he began playing at Academia Ciudad in Viejo Veranillo, in Panama, at the age of four. That grounding carried him into the senior game with CD Plaza Amador, where he grew into a left-footed defender comfortable at both centre-back and left-back. His spell there brought silverware rather than headlines — he won the Panamanian Apertura and Clausura titles, plus two Panamanian Supercups, while making around 50 appearances and scoring once for the club.

In January 2026 Jones left Panama for Ukraine, joining Kryvbas on a free transfer and signing a four-year contract. The move has already worked out in terms of playing time: he has made 18 appearances for the club.

At international level, Jones has so far stayed within Panama's youth setup. He collected two caps for the under-23 side and seven for the under-20 team, but has not yet been called into the senior national team.
