Aleksandr Kamensky

Aleksandr Kamensky grew up in Horishni Plavni before moving into the Dnipro youth system, where he spent three years with DVFUFC and UFk-Kryvbas. In the summer of 2023 he joined FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, starting out with the youth side before working his way into first-team contention.

His senior debut came in the Ukrainian Premier League on 6 October 2024, away to Dynamo Kyiv, when he was sent on as a 77th-minute substitute in a game Kryvbas lost 2-1. Since then the left-footed... right-footed midfielder has become a regular fixture in the squad, and his form for Kryvbas has run alongside recognition at youth level: for the 2023-24 season he was named winner of the Golden Ball awarded by the Youth Football League of Ukraine to the best player in the U-17 category.

That progress carried through to the national team. Kamensky has been capped for Ukraine's U-19 side, and on 13 November 2025 he scored his first international goal in a 3-0 win over Albania during qualifying for the UEFA European Under-19 Championship. The tournament itself, held in Wales, ended with Ukraine's youth side taking third place, Kamensky among the group that got there.

At club level, Kryvbas closed the 2024/25 Ukrainian Premier League season in fifth place, enough to send the club into the play-off round of the UEFA Europa Conference League — a campaign Kamensky was part of as he continued to add to his tally of appearances in Kryvyi Rih.
