Kadir Seven

Kadir Seven arrived at Zulte Waregem in January 2026, signing a contract that runs until June 2028, but he did not make a Belgian debut: through the club's early matches he sat among the unused substitutes. In September 2026 the club sent him out on loan to Vanspor FK for the 2026–2027 season, a move that returned him to Turkish football.

Born in Karabük, he came through the youth ranks at Kardemir Karabükspor before a stint at 5000 Evlerspor, then made his senior breakthrough at Orduspor 1967, where 31 appearances and three goals from the back line caught the eye. Giresunspor paid to take him on in 2022, a deal in which Orduspor kept a sell-on clause worth 40 per cent of any future transfer. Seven repaid that investment with 41 appearances across two seasons in Giresun colours.

His next move, to Çorum FK in the summer of 2024, showed how far his value had climbed: the transfer fee reached 10 million Turkish Lira, more than double what Giresunspor had paid for him, and the sell-on clauses attached to his earlier transfers meant Orduspor 1967 collected a further 4 million Lira from a player who had left them years before. That chain of clauses is a rare thread running through a young defender's career, each club along the way still profiting from the next sale.
