Kadu

Kadu came through Atlético Mineiro's academy, joining the club's youth setup at Cidade do Galo in 2018 as a young teenager from Divinópolis, Minas Gerais. The clearest marker of his development came in 2023, when he finished as top scorer of the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, netting three goals in the tournament.

He worked through Atlético Mineiro's youth ranks between 2022 and 2023, appearing in the Brasileirão Sub-20 and the same Copa São Paulo campaign before making the step up to senior football. Over time with the first team, Kadu made 51 appearances across the Campeonato Mineiro, Brasileirão Série A and Copa do Brasil, scoring eight goals and adding two assists. In the 2024 Série A season, he ranked third among Brazilian top-flight players under 20 for goals scored, with three to his name.

In February 2026, Kadu moved to Goiás on loan from Atlético Mineiro. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. He has since become a regular feature of Goiás's forward line in the Série B, and by the time of writing had made 18 appearances in the competition, scoring twice and setting up another goal for a teammate.
