About the player
Kevin Gadellaa stands 210 centimetres tall, making him one of the tallest players in the Eredivisie, though the figure has appeared differently in some databases. He came up through PVCV before joining the PSV Eindhoven academy and later Vitesse Arnhem, and moved to Utrecht in 2020 on a free transfer after being let go by Vitesse.
He started out with Utrecht's under-18 side before stepping up to Jong FC Utrecht in 2021, and made his professional debut for the reserve team on 10 December 2021 against VVV-Venlo in the Eerste Divisie. Utrecht rewarded his progress with a first professional contract in February 2022, an agreement later extended to run until June 2027. Since then he has built up around 56 appearances for the reserve side across all competitions, keeping five clean sheets in 13 matches during the 2023/2024 season, though his return dipped to two clean sheets in 22 matches this past campaign.
Gadellaa has been named among the substitutes for the Utrecht first team in several Eredivisie fixtures, including matches against Go Ahead Eagles and PSV Eindhoven, without yet making his senior competitive debut in the Eredivisie, the KNVB Cup or Europe.
