Lars Sætra

The knee gave him trouble early: Sætra needed surgery on it in 2007, while still at Strømsgodset, before his senior career had properly started. He worked his way into the first team there, going on to make 55 league appearances and score four goals in his first spell at the club, which culminated in the Eliteserien title in 2013.

That title was followed by a free transfer to Hammarby in the summer of 2014, where he made 62 league appearances and scored three goals, and won the Superettan title. In January 2017, he signed for the Chinese club Baoding Rongda; he made 14 appearances and scored once before his release that December, when the club was relegated.

Sætra returned to Strømsgodset in February 2018, and the following year reached the Norwegian Cup final with the club, though they finished as runners-up. A move to Tromsø IL in early 2020 brought another second-tier title, as the club won the OBOS-ligaen that year.

He joined Kalmar FF on a free transfer in March 2021 and has been there since: he has made 151 league appearances and scored 15 goals for the club, with 167 in all competitions. He extended his contract in 2025, keeping him at Kalmar through the 2026 season. At international level, his caps have stayed at youth level, with four appearances for Norway's under-19 side.
