Luke Ivanovic

Sydney FC gave Luke Ivanovic his senior debut on 2 December 2018, against the Central Coast Mariners, and over three seasons at the club he made 47 senior competitive appearances — 38 in the A-League Men and nine in the AFC Champions League — with goals that helped Sydney FC win the 2019–20 A-League Championship and Premiership. He had come through the club's youth pathway after starting out at Football NSW Institute, APIA Leichhardt and Bonnyrigg White Eagles, making his senior debut for Bonnyrigg in the NPL NSW Men's 1 in March 2017 before Sydney FC signed him in 2018.

He left Sydney FC on a free transfer in July 2021 to join Brisbane Roar for the 2021–22 season, then moved to Perth Glory in September 2022 in a deal involving Carlo Armiento, effectively a free transfer. His time in Western Australia lasted until February 2024, when he moved to Finland on a free transfer to join FC Lahti. In 2024 he scored 6 league goals in 26 Veikkausliiga appearances for Lahti, finishing the season with 9 goals and 3 assists in 33 games across all competitions.

A spell at Monterey Bay FC in 2025 preceded a return to Finland, where he signed for Turku PS in February 2026 on a free transfer. By late August/early September 2026 he had made 12 Veikkausliiga appearances for the club, scoring once and setting up another goal.

Ivanovic has represented Australia at Under-23 level with the Olyroos, taking part in training camps and friendlies in 2020, though a senior Socceroos call-up has not followed.
