About the player
Mark Țuțu was born in Iași. He moved to Canada at the age of two and joined the youth academy of CF Montréal, where he stayed from 2014 to 2017. At eighteen he moved to Portugal, spending two years in the youth ranks of Varzim SC before returning to Romania to launch his senior career.
That career started at Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț in Liga II in 2024, where the right back made 25 league appearances. In July 2025 he moved to UTA Arad on loan, with an option to buy attached to the deal, and played in Liga I. He made 33 league appearances across the season. When his contract at Ceahlăul expired, Țuțu left as a free agent and signed a three-year deal with Petrolul Ploiești, for whom he had made seven league appearances by August 2026.
Țuțu has also featured for Romania at youth level, playing for the under-20 side and the under-21s.
