Maciej Sobocinski

Maciej Soboczynski was born in Poland and moved into the Rosenborg BK system while still a teenager, now part of the club's first-team squad in the Eliteserien. He wears the number 30 shirt at a club that has long used its youth pipeline to bring Norwegian and foreign-born prospects through to senior football.

Little of his path before Trondheim has been made public, and his early progress has come without the fanfare that follows more heavily scouted teenagers. As a forward still establishing himself at senior level, his story so far is less about what he has already won and more about the opportunity in front of him at Rosenborg.
